Hi – I’m Jen. I am a wife, mom of 2 rambunctious boys, and a Health Coach.
One of the things I’ve come to appreciate as a mom is the continual balancing act that each day brings. Our kid’s needs come 1st, followed by the million other to-dos we have on our plate … and our needs tend to come last. The problem: you can’t pour from an empty cup. My blog is intended to share ideas about how to balance that act more effectively; I want to give you tools to help you be the best mom you can be.
For over a decade my career has allowed me to use my degree in Psychology and my experience from working as a Certified Personal Trainer to help people succeed with behavior change. Being a Health Coach has also allowed me to be home with my kids during the day and work from home at night. I’ve dealt with helping people make healthy changes in areas such as nutrition, exercise, and stress management. I’ve heard all the reasons not to focus on our health, like time, energy, motivation; and I help people overcome those every day. I plan to continue that in my blog. In our time together, we will be talking about subjects such as food, fitness, family fun, and balancing our hectic lives. Join me on this journey!
